How to delete your Ages of Myth account

You can permanently delete your Ages of Myth account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Two options are available — the in-app flow (fastest) and an email request (use this if you no longer have the app installed).

Option 1 — In-app (recommended)

The fastest way is from inside the game:

1. Open Ages of Myth on your device.
2. Tap Profile (top-left).
3. Scroll to the Account section.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Type the confirmation word and tap Delete.

The deletion runs immediately via our server endpoint DELETE /auth/me. Your access tokens are revoked, your account row is removed, and the cascade in the next section takes effect.

Option 2 — By email

If you no longer have the app installed, or you'd prefer not to use the in-app flow, send a deletion request to the address below from the email address on your account:

What gets deleted

Deletion is irreversible. The following information is removed from our active systems on deletion:

• Your account record (email, display name, password hash, OIDC subject IDs).
• Your card collection, decks, milestones, missions progress, season pass progress, mail inbox, dust / dinar / najm balances, and clan membership.
• Your current-season rating, rank, and weekly clan-war contributions; lifetime peak rating is also removed.
• Any active password-reset or email-verification tokens.
• Your push-notification token (no further notifications can be delivered).
• Your individual purchase entitlement records on our side. Receipts held by the store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and our merchant-of-record (RevenueCat) follow each store's retention policy independently — to request deletion there, contact the store directly.

What is retained (and why)

• Match results. Completed match rows survive in an anonymized form so the opposing player's match history remains intact. Your seat in those rows is replaced with a generic "Removed player" placeholder — no link back to you.
• Aggregate analytics events. Pseudonymous, app-level analytics events (event name, gameplay properties, opaque random ID) sent to PostHog before deletion are retained per PostHog's standard retention; they cannot be re-linked to you once your account is gone.
• Crash diagnostics. Anonymized crash reports sent to Sentry before deletion follow Sentry's standard retention (typically 90 days).
• Operational logs. Server access logs (truncated IP, request path, status, timing) are kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
• Anti-abuse records. If your account was actioned for cheating, payment fraud, or other policy violation, a minimal record (hashed identifiers + reason) is retained for as long as required to enforce a ban against re-creation.

Timing

Deletions initiated in-app take effect within seconds. Email-initiated deletions are actioned within 14 days of receiving a verified request, and we'll send a confirmation reply when it's done. If you don't see a confirmation within 14 days, please re-send your request.

If you change your mind

Once deletion runs, your account and the data listed above cannot be restored. You're welcome to start fresh by creating a new account at any time.
