Talos

Bronze does not tire, and does not wonder why it is walking.

6 chapters on the figure behind the card, researched in the Greek mythology sources and reviewed before publication. See Talos’s card →

1. Three Times a Day A bronze sentry with one duty, walked into the ground daily.
2. What He Did to Strangers Rocks, if you stayed offshore. Something worse if you landed.
3. The Single Vein One vein, neck to ankle, stopped with a nail. That was all.
4. The Laws in Bronze One Greek writer explained him away. It is the best story about him.
5. Whose Work He Is Made, born, or descended — the sources pick all three.
6. The Other Talos A second Talos, a better inventor, and a jealous uncle.
