Epics of Bharat cards in Ages of Myth

Arjuna, Ravana, Hanuman's vanara and Bhishma's bed of arrows — the heroes and creatures of the Mahabharata and Ramayana.

About the Epics of Bharat set

The only tradition in the game whose religion is widely and actively practised today, which changes what we are allowed to do with it. This set is scoped to the HERO layer of the two epics — the Mahabharata and the Ramayana — and to the creature classes that populate them: the archers, kings, ascetics and demon-kings whose choices the epics are about, plus the vanara, the rakshasa and the nagas. The worshipped deities are deliberately absent, and stay absent. What the epics give a card game instead is the richest set of moral dilemmas in any of these traditions: Arjuna refusing to fight his own family, Bhishma choosing his own death, Ekalavya's severed thumb, Karna's unpayable debts.
