Isis

Every version of the story has already started when she arrives.

7 chapters on the figure behind the card, researched in the Egyptian mythology sources and reviewed before publication. See Isis’s card →

1. Aset, the Throne Her name is written with a chair, and nobody is certain why.
2. The Search The clearest account of her greatest act was written by a foreigner.
3. The Kite Over the Body In the oldest telling she is not a woman at the graveside. She is a bird.
4. Hidden in the Marshes She did not raise a soldier. She raised a survivor, and wrote down how.
5. The Last Temple Her house is where the Egyptian language stopped being written.
6. The Name of Ra She built a snake out of his own spit, then named her fee.
7. Seven Scorpions Seven escorts with names, one slammed door, and a child cured anyway.
